During normal operation of high-pressure heater of 600 to 1,000MW supercritical (ultra-supercritical) thermal power unit, the main route of the three-way valve at high pressure heater inlet is opened and the bypass is closed. Water supply of the boiler enters the high-pressure heater from the main route before entering the boiler through the three-way valve at high pressure heater outlet.

  1. The valve body and bonnet adopt fully forged steel structure.
  2. Sealing type of the valve body and bonnet adopts pressure self-sealing structure.
  3. The valve design is designed with upper and lower valve seats. When the valve goes up for opening and water supply enters the high pressure heater, the valve core contacts the upper valve seat for sealing to prevent water supply from entering the bypass; when the valve goes down for closing and water supply enters the boiler through the bypass, the valve core contacts the lower valve seat for sealing to ensure disconnection and repairing of the high pressure heater.
  4. Upper valve seat and valve bonnet adopt split type structure to facilitate disassembly.
  5. The bypass where water supply flows through is equipped with throttle elements, providing identical pressure loss as high-pressure heater piping where medium passes through to prevent fluctuation of water supply pressure.
  6. In case of high-pressure heater disconnection, the hand wheel at the upper part of the valve can assist with closing the valve compulsively.
  7. The throttle elements in inlet three-way valve bypass and the upper valve seat adopt integrated design and require no additional throttle orifice separately.
